I photograph weddings quietly. I am not going to run your day, line your family up against a wall, or ask you to do the thing again because the light was better a minute ago. I watch, I anticipate, and I step in only when a word from me makes the photograph better. What you get back is the day as it actually felt, in a set of pictures that will still look like you in twenty years rather than like the year you got married.

Abroad and across more than one day
Destination and Multi Day Weddings
Italy, Europe and further, and any wedding that runs across more than one day
- Full day coverage on each day, from preparations to the party
- Quoted for the whole event rather than per day, which matters when a traditional ceremony and a church or civil ceremony fall on different days
- Optional session at a local landmark the day before the wedding

What you are paying for is not hours. It is somebody who has done this enough times to know what is about to happen, who is already standing in the right place when it does, and who will not need managing on the most expensive day of your life.
Questions
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I am based in Stevenage in Hertfordshire, which puts London half an hour down the line and most of the South East within easy reach. There is no travel charge anywhere in Hertfordshire or London. Beyond that I travel gladly, and I have photographed weddings in Italy in Capri, Milan, Lake Como and Cilento. For destination weddings the travel is built into the quote rather than added at the end.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as your venue is booked, and ideally nine to twelve months ahead. Saturdays in summer go first. If your date is closer than that it is still worth asking, because dates do come free and I would rather tell you honestly than have you assume.
How many photographs will we receive, and when?
Between 800 and 1,000 edited images for a full day of coverage, delivered digitally at high resolution with full print rights. Every image is edited by hand rather than run through a preset in a batch.
Is the album really included?
Yes, in all three collections. It is not an upsell after the wedding. I use Queensberry, GraphiStudio and nPhoto depending on the size and finish you want, and I will show you all three rather than sell you one. A wedding you never print is a wedding that lives on a hard drive.
Can we add a second photographer?
Yes, and for some weddings I will suggest it before you ask. If you and your partner are getting ready in different places, or the guest list runs past two hundred, a second pair of eyes is the difference between covering the day and covering half of it.
Can a collection be tailored?
Yes. More hours, a bigger album, a traditional ceremony covered on a separate day, an engagement session abroad. Tell me what your day actually looks like rather than choosing the nearest fit, and I will price it properly.
What holds our date?
A booking fee, with the balance due before the wedding. I will set the terms out in writing before you pay anything, and I will not ask you for money before you have seen them.
Do you photograph Nigerian, Asian and church weddings?
Yes, all of them, and the differences matter. A Nigerian wedding needs a photographer who knows the running order.
